Carving Your Feelings

Last night I got the urge to create something using a font I like. I printed a word from an inkjet printer, then pressed the word face down on a speedy cut block from Speedball. The work of cutting and carving was finally appreciated this morning when I stamped and embossed the image on some great paper.

I thought this was a fantastic combination of colors for the Spring to Summer transition. Yes?

Last week we took a tour of the Pendleton Woolen Mills in Washougal, Washington.  Pendleton is somewhat of an institution here in the Northwest. I got some great shots during our tour. Check them out!

Random Order

While in Portland last week, I visited a lovely bakery up on Alberta. Random Order Coffeehouse & Bakery has some amazing pie. I had the Brandied Peach and it was fantastic. Check them out here.
